- Spiral-core wires are recommended for maximum performance (do not use solid copper spark plug wires; they may cause interference with ignition system and accessories)
- Entire unit fits under the point cover on 80 Evolution, Shovelhead Big Twin and Sportster models
- Systems utilize 84-99 80 Evolution OEM pick-up rotor; on pre-84 models you will need to purchase OEM #32402-83 pick-up rotor or Part #2101-0025
- Coils must have at least a 2 ohm primary resistance
- Ignition systems, coils and plug wires sold separately
- Ignition rotor includes bolt and lock washer

NOTE: Single-fire systems must use single-fire coils with at least 2 ohms of resistance.
NOTE: If tach is inoperative after installation of the HI-4, you may require a tach adapter. The HI-4 tach output is compatible with ground-sensing tachs (including most OEM and aftermarket tachs), but some tachs require a high-voltage trigger pulse. In this case, install Crane tach adapter DS-242304.
